Sunday - Junk Journal Elements
1st Sunday of the Month - 10am - 3pm
What is a Junk Journal? A Junk journal is a handmade book made up of recycled items such as papers from magazines, brochures, patterned paper, music sheets, envelopes, packaging, brown paper bags, maps, greeting cards, post cards, doilies, to name a few. The book covers can be made from cereal boxes, old book covers or any hard card boards. Junk Journals can have any purpose you want them to. Particularly if you’re creating one from scratch – you can make it serve almost any purpose imaginable. Write a novel in it. Use it as a family budget book. Make it into a dream diary – it’s up to you! Junk Journals are decorated with a range of Elements including pockets, cascades, clips, ephemera, hand dyed papers, tags, dangles and more. On these Sundays we will learn to create different elements to create and use in your Junk Journal and keep an eye out for our Junk Journal making weekend! Create along with me or work on your own Junk Journal. COST: $10pp + materials used Keep an eye out for the individual event listings to know what we are doing each month and what to bring along!
